About

Policy & Political Review (PPR) is a nonpartisan magazine dedicated to discussion of politics and policy on the local, national, and global levels, run and published by undergraduates at the University of Pittsburgh. We publish short-form opinion pieces the news along with long-form analytical writing. As a publication, we have no partisan outlook or line. We seek to be a platform for civil and engaged political discussion from all points of view so as to foster the political discourse at Pitt and beyond.

PPR supports a multidisciplinary approach to all issues. We welcome and encourage submissions from all students, from STEM to Studio Arts. Driven by the ambitious vision and initiative of undergraduates, PPR was originally founded in April 2005 with the help of the University Honors College (UHC) and has since grown to be an independent organization. Its creators aspired to publish an undergraduate magazine committed to a serious discourse on politics and policy but not confined to a partisan point of view.

All articles submitted to PPR undergo review upon submission. All pieces must be policy-based and hold up to academic standards. For more detailed submission guidelines, click here.
